THE AUTHORS

Erin and Mave Duke were born in Tuscumbia, Alabama (also known as the Shoals) at Helen Keller Memorial Hospital. From an early age, they shared a love for creativity and dreamed of writing a book together. That dream became reality with the release of several titles, including The Spirit Tree at Toomer’s Corner, The Spirit Tree at Toomer’s Corner 2: The Rebirth, Where’s Aubie?, and A House Divided.

Erin Lough attended Auburn University before transferring to Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM), where she earned her B.S. in Legal Studies. She is married and lives in Huntsville, AL where she works for Alabama Children’s Rehabilitation Services as an Audiologist Assistant.

Mave Lough Duke earned her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Auburn University. She works as an author and graphic designer for Auburn Spirit Books (self-employed) and writes Christian children’s books, including “Big Mouth Sally" and “Bee Sweet!". She is married and lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband. Emma Grace, her bonus daughter, recently earned her B.S. in Journalism from the University of Alabama.
